CEREMONY OPENING OF ICU
BSC ZENICA BUSINESS INCUBATOR
On Monday, June 22nd of 2009. there was
a Ceremony Opening of Multimedia Center
(MMC), financed by the European Commission as part of the Tempus project
"Center for entrepreneurship and innovation" and ICU University Incubator, financed by the Ministry of Foreign
Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands within the project "Business
Start-up Centre Zenica" .
Attendees were addressed by Prime Minister of Zenica-doboj Canton Mr. Miralem
Galijašević, University Rector prof. sci. Sabahudin Ekinovic, Rector prof. sci.
Darko Petkovic, Director of BSC Zenica, Mr.sc. Nino Serdarevic, prof.dr.
Mirsada Oruc and Mr. Phillip Hostert, SPARK manager.
At a special ceremony attended by guests from around the Region, and
representatives of BSC centers: BSC Bar, BSC Bitola and BSC Kragujevac.
ICU University incubator was established in April of 2009, thanks to a joint
initiative of the University and the BSC Zenica, who brought the action and
adopted a program devoted to supporting technology oriented enterprise and
business incubation. The project is funded by the SPARK of Amsterdam, the
University and private businesses.
